Business Development Representative – Entry Level Sales


TapHunter is a fast growing technology startup that sits in the middle of mobile, social and web technology in the beverage industry. We’re building products that help connect people and places in hopes of making the world of craft beer and premium spirits easier to explore. . . and we could use your help.

We are looking for San Diego based sales consultants to work out of our downtown office. You will serve as an advisor by providing detailed information about our suite of web and mobile products to bars, restaurants and other outlets. The right candidate will have a background in selling recurring subscriptions and technology services.

What you’ll be doing:

The business development representative will be responsible for uncovering, qualifying and developing potential sales opportunities to be passed to the direct sales team, while promoting teamwork and communication between sales and marketing.

A successful candidate will be someone who is focused on winning, accountable for their goals and known for providing excellent customer service, strong leadership and a positive attitude.

We are looking for people who are seeking a career in sales, want to be part of a hard-working team, and are eager for professional development.

Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
Collaborate with the direct sales team to effectively target and connect with prospects
Efficiently use Base CRM tool on a daily basis to capture and track data
Conduct high-level conversations with prospects, who are mid to senior level executives
Consistently meet and exceed monthly quotas and daily call targets (75+/day)
Coachable, flexible and self-motivated
Must be able to work from the downtown office

Compensation – $13/hr and 40 hours/week.
