Show Notes:
  • How long have you been in the beer and bar business?
  • What were the early days of Falling Rock like?
  • How long have you been hosting GABF events?
  • GABF is right around the corner. What can we expect at Falling Rock this year?
  • You have a tendency to speak your mind, which sometimes ruffles feathers. You took Oskar Blues to task a while back for opening restaurants that compete with their retail accounts like Falling Rock. We’re seeing a lot more of this around the country, and you were kind of a voice in the wilderness on that. What inspired you to speak out so publicly?
  • There was a recent publicity stunt/dog and pony show with the founders of several breweries that have sold out (Breckenridge, Golden Road, and 10 Barrel). What was your take on that?
  • Did you read Jacob McKeans rebuttal to the spectacle?
  • Colorado has had a unique retail structure up until recently. Can you explain that?
  • The Colorado Brewers Guild has been in the news lately with an acrimonious rift with some of its members. What caused the split?
  • Can it be fixed?
