TapHunter launches in Tallahassee with Growler Country
Look out Florida, Tallahassee has a quickly growing craft beer scene (and now growlers have entered into the mix)! Tallahassee, Florida is home to Florida State University and a rapidly growing craft beer scene. In the last few years we have seen two breweries, several brewpubs, and a half-dozen or so craft beer focused bars open up. Now growlers have entered into the mix with the opening of Growler Country, Florida’s first growler filling station (and being a California based company where we have no Growler fill stations, we are very jealous).
Growler Country is the creation of brothers Bobby and Michael Carbonell who saw a huge need for a store with a great selection of craft beers on tap in a family friendly environment. When the Carbonell brothers were looking a solution to manage their tap list, they turned to TapHunter.
Growler Country is the first business using TapHunter in the Tallahassee market and the app has really taken off according to the two owners. “We tell every customer about TapHunter and the response has been phenomenal. Customers really love getting the push notifications for new beers and seeing our events and specials on the app,” said Michael Carbonell. “TapHunter makes life easier for us because we only have to hit one button to update our digital beer boards, website, Facebook and the app when we switch kegs” stated Bobby Carbonell “it’s a huge timesaver.” Growler Country opened on October 1st and business has been steadily increasing each week. The owners hope to open more locations in the near future and will be using TapHunter to manage the tap lists in all their future locations.
